Sedona Arts & Culture

Sedona has long been one of America's most vibrant art communities, attracting painters, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, and performers drawn to the dramatic red rock landscape and the creative energy it inspires. With over 80 galleries and studios, the town offers one of the densest concentrations of fine art in the Southwest.

Galleries & Studios

Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is the heart of Sedona's gallery scene — a Spanish colonial-style marketplace featuring over 40 galleries and boutiques showcasing everything from contemporary sculpture to traditional Native American jewelry and crafts. Uptown Sedona along Route 89A offers additional galleries, many with open studio events and artist meet-and-greets. Whether you're a serious collector or simply enjoy browsing beautiful work, Sedona's arts community offers an inspiring experience that complements the natural beauty surrounding it.

Cultural Events

Sedona's cultural calendar includes the acclaimed Sedona International Film Festival each February, monthly First Friday art walks where galleries host openings and live demonstrations, live music and theater performances at venues throughout town, and rotating public art installations. The Sedona Arts Center provides classes, workshops, and exhibitions year-round.

Art Districts

The Sedona Arts Center and Sedona Heritage Museum provide deeper connections to the area's creative and historical roots. Uptown Sedona and Tlaquepaque are the two primary art districts, though galleries and studios are scattered throughout West Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek as well.
